RIP Bleu Cruz

April 17, 2018 News No Comments

The South Florida community has lost a very special member. Bleu Cruz was a backup singer for Al’s Not Well and eventually became the lead singer when original singer Joce left the group. If you ever saw Al’s Not Well (or 10 Sheen) perform live, Bleu’s stage presence was not something you forgot easily. She was not only talented and had an incredible fashion sense, but she played the hell out of a tambourine and had a marvelously magnetic stage presence. Off stage, she was one of the sweetest people you could meet. I didn’t really know Bleu that well, but every time we crossed paths, she would say hello as if she were your best friend. I wasn’t sure if it was because we shared stages so many times or simply just because I was just another human sharing the same planet. But she was one of those people that always put a smile on your face. My heart breaks for all of her former bandmates, her friends and her family.
